Cheesy Corn Casserole


This recipe was given to me a few years ago by a friend of mine from my days of teaching in Maryland. It's easy to make and tastes really good! I always make it for Thanksgiving. It's become one of my husband's favorites!
For this recipe you will need 6 simple ingredients.

Ingredients Needed:

1 can whole kernel corn
1 can sweet corn cream style
1 box (8oz) Jiffy corn muffin mix
1 cup sour cream
1/2 stick unsalted butter, melted
1-1 1/2 cup cheddar cheese

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
In a large bowl, stir together the 2 cans of corn, 1 box of Jiffy, 1 cup of sour cream, and the melted butter.
Pour into a 9 x 13 greased baking dish.
Bake for 45 minutes until golden brown. Remove from oven and sprinkle cheese overtop. Then return to oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Let cool for a few minutes and serve warm :)
