Apple Pie Taquitos with Dulce De Leche

This recipe is a fun one because it can easily be adapted to meet your taste buds! Simply replace the apple pie filling with another pie filling of your choice. You can also change out the topping to make this recipe more to your liking!

For this recipe you will need 6 ingredients!
Ingredients for the Taquitos:

1 1/2 cans Apple Pie Filling (30 oz total)
20 fajita soft flour tortillas
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
1 cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Ingredients for the Topping:

1 can Nestle La Lechera

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Brush a 9 x 13 baking dish with melted butter. I used up a lot of my baking dishes today, so I laid tin foil on a cookie sheet and brushed it with the melted butter.
In a shallow dish, mix together the granulated sugar and cinnamon.
Empty the can(s) of pie filling into a food processor or blender. Blend for about 1 minute to soften filling. It may be necessary to stir filling with a fork and then continue to blend in order to soften it all.
Create your "assembly line"! Have your mixtures readily available and close by before assembling your taquitos.
Lay a tortilla shell flat and top with a large spoonful of apple pie filling.
Tightly roll up the tortilla and brush it with melted butter.

Roll your taquito into the sugar and cinnamon mixture. Then place it onto your baking dish or pan. Repeat this step until you've used up all your tortilla shells or pie filling.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the taquitos start to get golden on top.

Pour your Dulce De Leche into a microwave safe dish and microwave for 30 seconds, then stir. Repeat until the sauce is warmed up. This will make it a little easier to pour over your taquitos. I ended up heating my sauce for about 2 minutes total, stopping every 30 seconds to stir.
